Raja Pervaiz Ashraf urges PTI to play full role in parliament

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has said he went to the Leader of the Opposition with a message from Bilawal Bhutto, and that Mahmood Khan Achakzai welcomed it.

Speaking to the media after meeting Leader of the Opposition Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said PTI should play its full role in parliament. He said the dignity of parliament lay in holding clean and transparent elections.

He said committees should be formed in parliament for electoral reforms. Bilawal Bhutto, he said, had spoken of bringing electoral reforms in parliament. He added that the PPP had always worked to promote democracy.
