Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha discharged from Mumbai hospital after successful surgery

MUMBAI: Indian actress and model Nushrratt Bharuccha has been discharged from a hospital in Mumbai after successful surgery and is now recovering.

The actress fractured her spine in an accident on the Indonesian resort island of Bali. Her team has confirmed that the 41-year-old is now recovering at home.

According to the team, full recovery will need time and complete rest.

The actress, who rose to fame with the film Pyaar Ka Punchnama, was recently on a visit to Bali for work and leisure. After initial medical examination abroad, she was moved to Mumbai by air ambulance for advanced medical care and surgery.

In an official statement issued by the actress, she said that after the unfortunate accident and a difficult and trying phase, she was now recovering fast.
