Famous scene from drama Mitti De Bawe recreated in Indian creator’s video

KARACHI: The drama Mitti De Bawe, starring Mahira Khan and Wahaj Ali, has drawn attention in India. Social media users have posted interesting comments after a video by an Indian creator appeared.

The popularity of Pakistani dramas has once again begun to draw attention across the border. A famous scene from the drama, which features well-known actors including Mahira Khan, Wahaj Ali, Amar Khan and Junaid Khan, caught the attention of an Indian social media creator.

Indian content creator Milan Thakur made a video recreating a scene from the drama. It showed Bala’s first meeting with a widow.

When the video appeared, Pakistani and Indian users began comparing it with the scene in the original drama. Some users called it a sign of the popularity of the Pakistani drama, while others said the performances of the original actors were more impressive.

One user commented sarcastically that the Pakistani drama had become so popular that its scenes were being copied in the neighbouring country. Another user advised watching the original drama instead of the copy.

Some users, referring to the characters of Bala and Qamar-un-Nisa, said the acting of the original actors and their portrayal of the characters had a style of its own.

However, instead of being treated as final proof of the drama’s overall popularity, the recreation of the video can be seen as an interesting reaction that has appeared on social media.
