The aim is the development of Balochistan and the provision of basic facilities to the public.

Speaking to the state news agency, Lasbela Division Commissioner Saira Atta said the projects include the development of Pakistan Point, the setting up of modern IT hubs, the repair and construction of roads, and the provision of sports grounds.

She said work is also continuing on the installation of water filtration plants, the improvement of hospitals and dispensaries, and the construction of fishing sheds for fishermen. The programme also includes the construction of public toilets in the industrial city of Hub, basic infrastructure for educational institutions, and the solarisation of schools.

The Lasbela Division Commissioner said the aim of these measures is to improve the quality of life of the people of Balochistan, provide opportunities for progress to young people, and promote sustainable development in education, health, infrastructure and other sectors.

She said the BSDI is the basis of practical progress towards the development of Balochistan and the prosperity of its people. She added that the creation of the new division to improve administration and governance is a continuation of the same pro-people policy of the government.
