Barkhan assistant commissioner visits main water tank as supply restored

BARKHAN: On the special directions of Barkhan Deputy Commissioner Saeed-ur-Rehman Kakar, Assistant Commissioner Ehsamuddin Kakar today made a detailed visit to the main water tank of Barkhan town. He was accompanied by Public Health Engineering Executive Engineer Naseem Zarkoon.

During the visit, the Assistant Commissioner reviewed the water supply system, the motors and the main pipelines.

Briefing him on the occasion, the PHE Executive Engineer said a technical fault in the main water line the previous day had disrupted supply in some areas of the town. He said the fault had been repaired on an emergency basis.

He said the repair of the pipelines had been completed and water supply to Barkhan town had been fully restored.

Assistant Commissioner Ehsamuddin Kakar directed the PHE staff to ensure an uninterrupted supply of clean drinking water to citizens at all costs and to resolve public complaints promptly.
