Seven arrested in Sariab’s Satellite Town for selling flour above official price

QUETTA: On the orders of Deputy Commissioner Quetta Mehrullah Badini and following public complaints, a team led by Assistant Commissioner Sariab Musawar Ahmed took action against the sale of flour at inflated prices in the Satellite Town area.

During the operation, flour dealers, retailers and various shops were inspected. Prices were checked to ensure that flour was sold at official rates. Seven people who were selling flour above the official rates were arrested.

The District Administration Quetta made it clear that action on public complaints would continue. It said violations of the fixed official rates would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
