Rockets fired and shots aimed at Jaffar Express near Khaliqabad, passengers safe

NASEERABAD: According to police sources, there are reports of firing and rocket fire on the Jaffar Express train near Khaliqabad, within the limits of Nautal police station in Naseerabad.

Sources said two rockets were fired at the train from an unknown direction, and shots were also fired. The rockets were fired from a distance of about two kilometres on the eastern side of the train near Khaliqabad.

Despite the rocket attack and firing, the train and its passengers remained safe. Further investigation is under way.
