Illegal borehole sealed in Quetta’s Mandokhel Street, those involved arrested

QUETTA: Action was taken at once on a report of illegal boring in Mandokhel Street No 2. It was carried out on the orders of the Chief Minister Balochistan and the directions of Quetta Deputy Commissioner Mehrullah Badini, under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner (Saddar) Muhammad Yousuf Hashmi.

During the operation, the illegal borehole was sealed on the spot. Those involved were arrested and legal proceedings against them have begun.

The District Administration Quetta said that action against illegal boring, violations of government laws and irresponsible use of groundwater in the city would continue without discrimination, to ensure the protection of water resources.
