Quetta Deputy Commissioner chairs meeting on electricity and gas problems

QUETTA: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Quetta Deputy Commissioner Meharullah Badini to review public problems related to the supply of electricity and gas in Quetta city.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), the XEN of Wapda, officials of the gas department and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), and the Assistant Commissioner Sariab.

The meeting discussed in detail electricity load shedding across the city, problems in the supply of electricity, low gas pressure, gas supply timings, voltage problems and other administrative matters.

Directions and assurance of cooperation

The Deputy Commissioner directed officials of the departments concerned to take effective steps to resolve the problems people face in the supply of electricity and gas.

He made it clear that wherever there were problems in the supply of electricity and gas, the district administration would give full cooperation and support to the departments concerned, so that public difficulties could be addressed in time.
