Mutations and revenue kutchery

He directed that mutations be carried out transparently, land records be corrected and pending matters be settled within the set time. He said the public must be given revenue department services on time.

The Deputy Commissioner directed that the revenue kutchery, held every Thursday, be made more effective. He said public complaints and long-pending revenue cases should be settled on a priority basis so that people could get quick relief and justice.

The meeting also stressed preventing illegal occupation of state land, protecting government land, resolving land disputes on time, effective supervision of the revenue department’s field staff and transparency in revenue records.

The Deputy Commissioner made it clear that negligence, unnecessary delay, corruption and irregularity of any kind in the affairs of the revenue department would not be tolerated. He said all officers and staff must perform their duties honestly, transparently and professionally, and avoid any lapse in resolving public problems.

He further said that effective steps would continue to improve the revenue system, collect government revenue on time, protect state land and provide revenue-related facilities to the public.
