Action begins against illegal water connections in Mirani Dam command area

TURBAT: Action has begun against illegal water connections and illegal watercourses in the command area of the Mirani Dam on 29 October, on the orders of Kech Deputy Commissioner Yasir Iqbal Dashti and the instructions of Assistant Commissioner Nadeem Iqbal Bangulzai.

Tehsildar Kharan Bahot Dashti, along with the relevant Irrigation Department staff, has taken steps to end illegal water connections and the sources of illegal water supply.

According to officials, the action aims to stop illegal water supply, ensure fair distribution of water resources and enforce the relevant laws and rules. This will allow water distribution in the Mirani Dam command area to be managed according to the rules.

On the instructions of the Kech Deputy Commissioner, the relevant officials have been directed to continue action in accordance with the law to remove illegal water connections and watercourses. They have also been directed to ensure the effective and fair use of water resources.
