Drain cleaning drive intensified in Loralai’s Sadar Bazaar, Baghi Bazaar and Kakari Mosque Road

LORALAI: Steps are under way to improve cleanliness and the drainage system in the city on the directions of Municipal Committee Chairman Muhammad Tahir Nasir and Chief Officer Mohibullah Baloch. Drains are being cleaned on various roads and in commercial areas, including Sadar Bazaar, Baghi Bazaar and Kakari Mosque Road, under the supervision of the Supervisor, Baran Zone.
Cleaning staff removed rubbish, soil and other blockages from the drains and restored the drainage system. This is to improve the flow of water so that dirty water does not collect on roads and in markets during rain or on other occasions.
The chairman and the chief officer said that providing residents with a clean, healthy and pleasant environment was the top priority of the Municipal Committee. They said the cleaning drive would continue in stages in different areas.
They appealed to residents, shopkeepers and traders to cooperate with the cleaning staff and to dispose of rubbish at designated places instead of throwing it into drains, on roads or in public places. According to officials, a clean city is the shared responsibility of every citizen.
