Three bombs defused on RCD Highway in Lasbela; commissioner announces certificates for bomb disposal team

UTHAL: According to an official handout issued by the office of the Commissioner Lasbela Division, the technical bomb disposal team of the Special Branch carried out an emergency operation in Bela tehsil of Lasbela district on a tip-off about three highly dangerous improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The devices had been planted on the RCD Highway to carry out sabotage and harm Law and Order.

The team showed professional skill. It traced the explosives in time at three different points on the highway, including Kashari Sakan Welpat, and defused them safely.

Commissioner Lasbela Division Saira Ata praised the courage of the team’s personnel and announced that certificates of good performance would be issued to them.

Commissioner Lasbela Saira Ata said that the personnel of the Special Branch’s technical bomb disposal team defused three IEDs in a short time with great professionalism. She said their swift and successful action foiled the vile plan of anti-state elements on the RCD Highway. She added that the district administration values the services of these brave officers and personnel.
