DIG Prisons Ziaullah Tareen meets Irrigation Secretary Sohail ur Rehman, agrees on cooperation

QUETTA: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Prisons Balochistan Ziaullah Tareen met Secretary Irrigation, Government of Balochistan, Sohail ur Rehman at his office. They discussed matters of mutual interest and various administrative issues in detail.

The meeting also covered departmental affairs, effective coordination between institutions and the promotion of mutual cooperation. Government business under way in the province and matters of public interest were also discussed. Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Shakeel Baloch, Ahmed Durrani, Irrigation Department SO Anjum Bashir and Quetta Division Irrigation SDO Mehrab were also present.

Both officers stressed that effective contact and cooperation between government departments play an important role in carrying out administrative work better and delivering public services. They agreed to strengthen institutional ties further. The participants exchanged experiences and suggestions and expressed their resolve to stay in touch in future. At the end of the meeting, the DIG thanked the Irrigation Secretary, while the Irrigation Secretary described his visit as welcome.
