SP Harnai chairs crime review meeting, orders pending cases be disposed of quickly

HARNAI: A crime and progress review meeting was held at the SP office in Harnai on the directions of the DIG Loralai Range. The meeting was chaired by the SP Harnai. All SHOs and investigation officers of Harnai district attended.

The meeting closely reviewed the overall law and order situation in Harnai district, progress in serious cases, pending cases and the performance of all police stations. The SP Harnai inspected the investigation files of the police stations and assessed the performance of the investigating officers.

The SP Harnai said that eliminating crime and protecting the lives and property of citizens were the top priorities of the police. He directed that investigations into all pending cases be completed on merit as soon as possible and challans be submitted to the courts. He also directed that patrolling and checkpoints at sensitive places across the district be tightened further to root out criminal elements. He said complainants visiting police stations should be treated courteously and legal action should be taken promptly on their complaints.

At the end of the meeting, all officers were directed to implement the instructions issued in letter and spirit and to send performance reports regularly to senior officials.
