Assistant Commissioner Saddar leads operation against encroachments on parks in Quetta’s Labour Colony

QUETTA: On the directions of Quetta Deputy Commissioner Mehrullah Badini, Assistant Commissioner Saddar Muhammad Yousuf Hashmi carried out a joint operation against encroachments in Labour Colony. He was accompanied by a magistrate of the Metropolitan Corporation Quetta (MCQ) and the Estate Officer of the Workers Welfare Board (WWB).

Details of the operation

During the operation, permanent encroachments and illegal private constructions on public parks were demolished with the help of the Metropolitan Corporation Quetta magistrate.

The Assistant Commissioner Saddar made it clear that protecting government property and keeping public places free of illegal occupation are among the district administration’s top priorities.

He said action against encroachments would continue without discrimination to clear them and protect public recreational spaces.
