Deputy Commissioner Quetta directs completion of e-commerce and IT lab within two weeks

QUETTA: A meeting on the early completion of construction work on the modern e-commerce and IT lab was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Quetta Mehrullah Badini. The Commandant of 115 Wing, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), the Executive Engineer of the Communication and Works (C&W) Department, the C&W architect, IT members, the contractor and other officials attended.

The meeting reviewed in detail the ongoing construction work on the lab, its progress and the problems faced. The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials concerned and the contractor to complete the remaining work quickly and finish the project within two weeks.

He made it clear that no negligence, delay or lapse in completion would be tolerated and that there would be no compromise on the quality of work. He directed the officers to monitor progress continuously so that the lab could become functional within the set time.

Mehrullah Badini said the modern IT and e-commerce lab would play an important role in giving young people opportunities in modern technology, digital skills and the e-commerce sector.
