One dead, 12 victims of Naseerabad road accident brought to Dera Murad Jamali hospital

NASEERABAD: Medical Superintendent of Teaching Hospital Dera Murad Jamali Dr Habibullah Pandrani has said that a total of 12 victims of a road traffic accident (RTA) that occurred the previous day were brought to the Teaching Hospital Dera Murad Jamali. Doctors and paramedical staff gave the injured immediate medical aid.

According to him, one of the victims had died before reaching the hospital. One critically injured patient was brought in a gasping condition. After first aid, he was referred to a higher health facility for better and specialised treatment.

Two patients suffered fractures of the arm bones. They were given immediate medical aid and their condition is being monitored continuously. Eight of the injured suffered moderate injuries. After treatment, they have been admitted to the male ward of the Teaching Hospital. They are being treated under the supervision of medical experts and will be discharged with necessary instructions once they recover.

Dr Habibullah Pandrani said the hospital’s doctors and paramedical staff are performing their duties with full dedication and professionalism to deal with accidents and emergencies. He said the hospital administration is trying to ensure that all patients receive timely, effective and the best medical facilities, and that immediate medical aid is ensured in emergencies. He said all available resources are being used for better care of the patients, and doctors, nursing staff and other personnel are working continuously.
