Adviser Meena Majeed Baloch attends youth sports policy seminar at Ayub Stadium

QUETTA: Provincial Adviser for Sports and Youth Affairs Meena Majeed Baloch attended a youth sports policy seminar at Ayub Stadium, Quetta. The Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs and the Director General Sports accompanied her.

Representatives of various sports associations, athletes, young people and participants from other related fields attended the seminar. They put forward suggestions and questions on the promotion of sports, opportunities for youth, sports infrastructure and policy.

Meena Majeed Baloch answered the participants’ questions and spoke to them directly. She listened carefully to their suggestions and views on the sports sector and noted them down.

She said the youth sports review policy aims to make the sports sector more effective, give young people and athletes better opportunities, and make the suggestions of stakeholders part of policymaking. She said the views of athletes, sports associations and young people were extremely important for improving sports, and their suggestions would be taken into account in the future course of action.
