JD Vance claims oil flow through Strait of Hormuz has resumed
According to JD Vance, 1.5 billion barrels of oil passed through the Strait of Hormuz the previous day. He said Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz had effectively ended.
The United States Vice President said Iran must stop attacks on ships. He said there would be no talks with Iran until the attacks on ships stopped.
JD Vance said the United States had never targeted civilians in war. He said he doubted Iranian media reports of attacks on a wedding ceremony. He said the attack on the wedding ceremony was being investigated.
The United States Vice President said he did not know whether the war with Iran would end before the US midterm elections. He said China was ready to cooperate in isolating Iran economically.
According to JD Vance, Beijing could play a key role in putting pressure on Tehran. He said Iran would not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.
