Attack on Iran one of my best decisions, will do it again if needed: Trump

WASHINGTON: United States President Donald Trump has defended the attack on Iran and announced that he will strike again. He said Iran has been fighting a war against the United States since 1979 and is responsible for the deaths of thousands of American soldiers.
Addressing a rally in the state of Texas, Trump said the attack on Iran was one of the best decisions of his life. He said that if he had to attack Iran again, he certainly would.
He said the military action against Iran was among his major achievements. Donald Trump said the United States had not started the war with Iran, but that Iran had been fighting the United States since 1979.
He accused Tehran of killing thousands of American soldiers. He said former American leaders should have acted against Iran decades ago, but they had neither the courage nor the wisdom to do so.
Trump claimed that oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz were increasing. He hinted that the waterway could soon be renamed the Strait of Trump.
The American president further said petrol prices in the United States would fall sharply soon. He said the current economic difficulties were temporary and that their benefits would emerge in the future.
