Iran declares British Royal Navy and Royal Air Force terrorist organisations

TEHRAN: Iran has declared Britain’s naval and air forces terrorist organisations and the British intelligence agency MI6 a hostile group.

According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force have been declared terrorist organisations, while MI6 has been added to the list of hostile groups.

The Foreign Ministry said these steps against Britain were taken in response to its support for the United States and Israel in their war against Iran and its anti-Iran actions.

The Foreign Ministry said Iran is committed to taking the necessary steps to protect its national security and interests.

It may be recalled that in July Britain had declared Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a threat to its national security.
