Divisional health director makes surprise visit to BHU Rakhni

BARKHAN/RAKHNI: Divisional Director Health Services Koh-i-Suleman Division, Rakhni, Dr Mehrdin Khetran, made a surprise visit to the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Rakhni on 27 October 2026. He reviewed in detail the medical facilities provided at the centre, staff attendance and administrative matters.

During the visit, he inspected the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI), the nutrition centre and the Mother and Child Health (MCH) centre. The relevant records, staff attendance and other administrative matters were also checked. The medical facilities available at the centre and the stock of medicines were reviewed.

While inspecting the facilities provided to the public at the health centre, the divisional director stressed the importance of improving medical services, staff punctuality and quality treatment for patients.

Under the people-friendly policies of the Government of Balochistan, steps are continuing to improve health facilities in remote areas and to provide quality medical services to people at their doorstep.
