Free mobile veterinary camp held in Ziarat Machi, hundreds of livestock examined

GWADAR: The Livestock Department Gwadar held a free mobile veterinary medical camp in Ziarat Machi and surrounding areas. It was organised with the special cooperation of MPA Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch and the district administration, under the supervision of District Livestock Officer Dr Sabir Ali.

During the camp, hundreds of animals were examined and treated free of charge. They were also vaccinated to protect them against various epidemic diseases. Besides free veterinary medicines for livestock owners, awareness was given about better care of animals, a balanced diet, timely treatment and protection from infectious diseases.

On the occasion, the Livestock Department staff told livestock owners about the importance of taking precautions to protect the health of animals, increase production and keep livestock safe from disease.

They said the main aim of the initiative was to provide free veterinary services to livestock owners in remote areas at their doorstep, protect the health of livestock, ensure timely diagnosis and prevention of disease, and safeguard the economic assets of livestock owners.
