GWADAR: Under the provincial government’s education-friendly policy, activities are continuing in collaboration with the Education Department and UNICEF to give children access to books and reading facilities. In this connection, on 5 September the book van made a reading and educational visit to Government Boys Primary School, Sarfraz Colony, Ghati Dor, Gwadar.

Munir Ahmed, facilitator of the Gwadar book van, held the activities on the directions of Adil Nodezai, manager of the Education Support Programme. The programme began with physical exercise. The children were then told a story with a lesson, and were asked questions about its theme, characters and moral points. They answered with enthusiasm.

The activities aim to promote the habit of reading, a love of books, critical thinking and the ability to ask and answer questions among children.
