Deputy Commissioner Sagar Kumar reviews BSDI Phase 2 schemes in Qila Saifullah

QILA SAIFULLAH: A detailed review meeting on the development schemes under way under BSDI Phase 2 was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Sagar Kumar. Officers of various departments, technical experts and local representatives attended the meeting. Maulvi Noorullah was also present and gave his views on the area’s development, public needs and ground realities.

The Deputy Commissioner directed officers of all departments to give a clear and comprehensive briefing on the latest progress of ongoing projects, the difficulties they face, financial requirements and likely completion timelines.

The officers presented details on road construction, Education and Health projects, water supply, agricultural development, the environment and other key sectors.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed improving the quality of projects, ensuring transparency and giving top priority to public welfare. He directed that all schemes be completed on time and said that slow progress in the development work would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Maulvi Noorullah highlighted the public issues, needs and priorities of the area and welcomed the government’s growing interest in development projects. He expressed the hope that the BSDI Phase 2 projects would prove effective in removing the area’s backwardness.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed all departments to submit progress reports in writing at the next meeting. He also directed that public complaints and problems be examined directly during field visits.
