Chaman DC Habib Ahmed Bangulzai chairs review of third day of polio drive

CHAMAN: Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Bangulzai chaired an evening review meeting on the third day of the special polio campaign (FIPV-OPV). The meeting reviewed in detail the overall progress of the campaign, the performance of the polio teams, security arrangements and other related matters.

Officials of the polio programme briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the progress of the campaign, the performance of the teams, the identification of children left out and the problems faced.

The Deputy Commissioner directed that no child should be left without polio drops during the campaign. He directed the departments concerned to ensure effective monitoring of the teams, security and timely solution of problems faced in the field, so that the campaign could achieve its targets successfully.

He appealed to parents to cooperate fully with the polio teams and to make sure their children under five years of age were given polio drops, so that they could be protected from lifelong disability.
