Duki DC chairs meeting on correcting dates of birth in SAP system

DUKI: An important meeting on the correction of dates of birth (Date of Birth) in the SAP system for government employees was held under the chair of Duki Deputy Commissioner Fazal Rehman Kabdani. Officers and employees of various government departments attended.

The meeting reviewed the cases received for correction of dates of birth. The service records, identity documents, educational certificates and other supporting documents of the employees concerned were examined, so that any error or discrepancy in the records could be removed in accordance with the rules.

The Deputy Commissioner directed that action in all cases be taken only after full scrutiny, verification of official records and examination of documents. He said the details in service records were extremely important, so negligence, unnecessary delay and amendments based on unverified information should be avoided.

He stressed that employees’ data in the SAP system must be correct, complete and authentic, so that no difficulty arises in future in matters of salaries, pensions, retirement and other departmental affairs. At the end of the meeting, the departments were directed to speed up action on pending cases and to update the records in accordance with the rules.
