US embassy political team meets PTI leaders in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: A delegation from the political section of the US embassy met leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to sources, the PTI delegation was led by former Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser. PTI Member of the National Assembly Barrister Umair Niazi was also part of the delegation.
The meeting discussed the overall political situation in Pakistan, the democratic process and political matters.
The PTI leaders briefed the US delegation on the country’s current political situation and the challenges it faces. The party leadership also put its concerns about the political situation before the US delegation.
The US embassy delegation listened to the PTI leadership’s position.
