Sangakkara accuses Ryanair staff of racism at Dublin Airport

DUBLIN: Former Sri Lanka cricketer Kumar Sangakkara has accused Ryanair staff at Dublin Airport of racism. He said the staff’s behaviour towards him and his family during the journey was discriminatory and threatening.

Sangakkara said the staff told him that people like him should expect such treatment with their passports.

Ryanair, on the other hand, has denied the allegation. It said Sangakkara refused to show his visa documents.
