All matches important for us in Asia Cup, says Fatima Sana

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Fatima Sana said she benefited greatly from playing in The Hundred league in England. She said it is an honour for her to be the first Pakistani woman cricketer to play in the league in England.

She said good performances in The Hundred would open doors of opportunity for other Pakistani players as well.

On the Asia Cup, she said the team is familiar with the conditions in Dubai and the mistakes made in the previous series would not be repeated this time.

The captain of the national women’s team added that every match in the Asia Cup is important. She said the team is determined to perform well throughout the event rather than focus on any single contest.
