University of Turbat to hold Kech Academic Gala 2026 in November

TURBAT: The Kech Academic Gala 2026 will be held in November at the main campus of the University of Turbat. It is being organised with the support of the university’s academic and administrative departments and various student clubs and societies. The gala will be a comprehensive festival of co-curricular, creative, entertainment, technology and cultural activities. Through a range of programmes and competitions, students and young people will get a chance to polish their creative skills.

The mega event is in line with the University of Turbat’s long-term vision and Strategic Plan 2026-30. Its aim is to give students and young people of the region an excellent platform to learn, create and move forward.

Activities at the event

The event includes a Business Idea Competition, a Career Counselling Boot Camp, an Entrepreneurship Boot Camp, a Business Gala, an Artificial Intelligence Boot Camp, a Technology and Innovation Competition, a Science, Art and Innovation Competition, drama and poetry, a Musical Talent Hunt Competition and sports competitions. Other academic, entertainment and cultural activities are also included. Further details on the dates of these programmes and activities, registration and how to take part in the competitions will be issued soon.

Students, parents, young people, educational institutions, business figures and the public can take part in the festival.

Under the vice chancellor’s vision

According to a university spokesperson, the event is being held under the vision and special directions of the University of Turbat’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Gul Hassan. All participants will get a chance to show their abilities according to their interests and to learn new skills.

The event will also connect the region’s educational institutions, business figures and young people. It will play an important role in promoting social harmony, mutual tolerance, national unity and peace.
