Khuzdar departments review monthly performance under Opposition Leader Mir Younus Aziz Zehri

KHUZDAR: The monthly review meeting of all departments of Khuzdar district was held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Khuzdar. Leader of the Opposition in the Balochistan Assembly Mir Younus Aziz Zehri chaired the meeting. Khuzdar Deputy Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Sasoli attended in particular.

The meeting began with a recitation from the Holy Quran. All departments then presented their monthly performance reports in turn.

Briefings by departments

The Health Department briefed the meeting on the supply of medicines to hospitals. The Education Department briefed it on teachers’ attendance in schools. The B&R, Public Health Engineering and Urban Planning departments gave detailed briefings on ongoing development schemes, roads and water supply schemes. Officers of the Livestock, Agriculture and other departments also briefed the meeting on their departments.

Directives

Chairing the meeting, Mir Younus Aziz Zehri reviewed the performance of all departments in detail. He said that development projects under way for the welfare of the people were not a favour to anyone but the right of the people. He said Khuzdar was a backward district and there would be no compromise on providing its people with basic facilities such as education, health, water and roads.

He clearly directed that all development projects be completed on time and to a good standard. He also directed that transparency be ensured in every project so that the people could get better and lasting facilities.

Mir Younus Aziz Zehri further said that officers of all departments should make things easy for the public in their offices. He told them not to be negligent in solving public problems and to carry out their duties well, honestly and with a sense of duty. He said all departments should keep their monthly performance reports ready and that he would visit their offices himself, so that departments with poor performance could be identified.

Khuzdar Deputy Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Sasoli said the directives of Opposition Leader Mir Younus Aziz Zehri would be implemented one hundred per cent. He said the district administration would take every possible step to give relief to the people.
