SIBI: Deputy Commissioner Sibi Major (retd) Ilyas Kibzai ordered action on complaints received from citizens on social media, keeping public convenience in view. He directed that unnecessary and extra speed breakers in the city be removed.

On the Deputy Commissioner’s special directions, the staff concerned removed unnecessary speed breakers in phases from Mir Chakar Road, Harnai Phatak and other roads, under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Sibi Mansoor Ali Shah. The aim is to end the difficulties citizens face in getting around and to improve the flow of traffic.

Deputy Commissioner Major (retd) Ilyas Kibzai said the district administration was taking every possible step to provide safe, easy and better travel facilities to the public. He said timely redress of citizens’ genuine complaints was the district administration’s first priority. He said no unnecessary obstacle against the public interest would be tolerated.

He directed the officials concerned to keep reviewing the city’s various roads. Speed breakers that are necessary for traffic safety should be kept, he said, while unnecessary and extra ones should be removed to give the public the greatest possible convenience.
