Sibi municipal staff pump out rainwater with dewatering machines

SIBI: In line with the public-friendly vision of the Chief Minister Balochistan and the resolve to give citizens a clean and healthy environment, cleaning and drainage work is continuing in Sibi city.

On the directions of Commissioner Sibi Division Asadullah Faiz and Deputy Commissioner Sibi Major (retd) Ilyas Kabzai, and on the orders of Municipal Committee Sibi Chairman Sardar Muhammad Khan Khajak, staff are cleaning different areas and roads of the city under the supervision of Municipal Committee Chief Officer Lala Abdul Qayyum Dehpal.

Water is being pumped out with dewatering machines from roads where rainwater collected after heavy rain last night. Rubbish has been removed from roads and streets and moved to suitable sites. Chief Sanitary Inspector Muhammad Saleem and Murad Rind also visited different roads, supervised the work and directed the staff to make the cleaning more effective.

According to the Municipal Committee administration, cleaning and drainage work will continue without a break to remove citizens’ difficulties after the rain at once and to keep the city clean.
