Sibi deputy commissioner visits Mir Chakar Khan Rind University, meets Vice Chancellor

SIBI: Deputy Commissioner Sibi Major (retd) Ilyas Kabzai visited Mir Chakar Khan Rind University Sibi (MCKRU) and met Vice Chancellor Professor Mumtaz Ali Baloch. Assistant Commissioner Sibi Mansoor Ali Shah was also with him.

The meeting held a detailed discussion on the academic activities under way at the university, facilities for students, the research and teaching environment, institutional cooperation and future development projects.

The Vice Chancellor briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the university’s academic progress, ongoing development projects, research activities and future plans. He also informed him of the university’s needs and of the steps being taken to promote higher education in the region.

Appreciating the university’s academic and research services, the Deputy Commissioner said Mir Chakar Khan Rind University was playing an important role in promoting higher education in the region and building the capacity of young people. He said the district administration would continue to extend every possible cooperation to the university. Both sides agreed to further promote mutual cooperation and to continue joint efforts for higher education.
