Anti-malaria spray campaign launched in Sanjawi

SANJAWI: On the orders of Ziarat Deputy Commissioner Abdul Quddus Achakzai and Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, a spray campaign to prevent malaria was formally inaugurated in Sanjawi tehsil. District Health Officer Ziarat Dr Rafiq Mastoi supervised the inauguration ceremony.

District Manager PPHI Ziarat Mumtaz Ali Rind, Drug Inspector Ziarat tehsil Muhammad Adeel, District Coordinator of the Malaria Control Programme IHHN Jumma Khan and Malaria Supervisor Ghulam Ullah were also present. The team discussed the importance of preventing and controlling malaria.

The participants pledged that all available resources would be used to make the spray campaign a success, stop the spread of malaria and protect the local population from the disease. Officials said preventive measures would be made more effective along with public awareness, so that people in the area could have a healthy and safe environment.
