PM Shehbaz Sharif gives Rs10 million cheque to nurse Razia Noreen for bravery

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the whole nation was proud of nurse Razia Noreen and acknowledged her courage and bravery. He said the feat of Razia Noreen, a daughter of the nation, would be remembered in golden letters, and the whole nation paid tribute to her.

The Prime Minister announced that nurse Razia Noreen would also be awarded the Tamgha-i-Khidmat on 23 March.

During the meeting, nurse Razia Noreen said the fire was spreading fast, but she did not think and went inside to save the children. She said the child was very small, and she rescued him and brought him out.

According to Razia Noreen, when she went back inside to save the other children, there was an explosion and darkness fell. She told the other nurse to save the children.

Speaking to the Prime Minister, nurse Razia Noreen said she had only done her duty, but she was very happy at the honour given to her by the Prime Minister.
