Defence Day rally held in Nasirabad under Additional Deputy Commissioner Khalil Ahmed

NASIRABAD: The district administration of Nasirabad held a rally on Defence Day. It was supervised by Additional Deputy Commissioner Nasirabad Khalil Ahmed and Assistant Commissioner Chhatar.

District officers, police, officials of government departments, political and social figures, students, teachers and members of civil society took part in large numbers. Carrying national flags, the participants expressed their resolve for the security and prosperity of Pakistan. They paid tribute to martyrs and veterans, and chanted “Pakistan Zindabad, Pakistan Army Zindabad” and “Salute to the martyrs”.

Speakers said 6 September was a proud day when the nation and the armed forces defended the homeland with unity and courage. At the end of the rally, prayers were offered for the security and progress of the country and for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs.
