Defence Day event at Girls Higher Secondary School Kalat, AC Asad Samalani chief guest

KALAT: A ceremony was held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kalat on 6 September to mark Defence Day, Pakistan. It was organised by the district administration and the Education Department. Assistant Commissioner Kalat Asad Samalani was the chief guest. District Education Officer Nisar Ahmed Noorzai presided.

The guests of honour included Principal of the Post Graduate College Professor Shakeel Baloch, District Officer Education (Male) Sanaullah Sana and Headmistress of the Girls Higher Secondary School Yasmin Shahwani. Students from various schools and colleges presented naats, speeches, tableaux and national songs.

Assistant Commissioner Asad Samalani and Nisar Ahmed Noorzai said that on this day the Pakistan Army and the people had united to give a crushing reply to the Indian attack. They said the people still stand shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces and will make any sacrifice for the country’s security. The district administration distributed cash prizes among the students who took part in the ceremony. It ended with a prayer for the country’s prosperity and integrity.
