Gold price drops sharply in global and local markets
The price of gold in the international bullion market fell by $128 to $4,156 per ounce.
Following the decline in the global market, the price of gold in the local bullion market also fell. A tola of gold dropped by Rs12,800 to Rs438,136, while 10 grams fell by Rs10,973 to Rs375,631.
Similarly, the price of silver fell by Rs325 to Rs6,578 per tola. Ten grams of silver fell by Rs279 to Rs5,639.
