Wasim Samad meets Gwadar DHO over broken X-ray machine at RHC Jiwani

GWADAR: Wasim Samad, Special Assistant to MPA Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, met the District Health Officer (DHO) Gwadar, Dr Yasir Tahir Baloch, along with Jiwani elders Aurangzeb and Aziz. They discussed the problems faced by the Rural Health Centre (RHC) Jiwani, especially the broken X-ray machine, the water tank and the laboratory, and the improvement of other medical facilities.

Dr Yasir Tahir Baloch said steps were continuing to improve health facilities in Gwadar district and make health centres more effective. He said a budget had also been approved for RHC Jiwani through the efforts of Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, and that the necessary steps were being taken to resolve the other problems.

The DHO said the closure of the Quetta-Gwadar road route because of the security situation had affected the supply of medicines and medical equipment. He said efforts were continuing to ensure health services within the available resources.
