University of Turbat chemistry students visit Makran Medical College biochemistry lab

TURBAT: Students of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Turbat visited Makran Medical College, where they took part in an informative and interactive orientation session on the biochemistry laboratory.

Besides the students, Head of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Turbat Dr Zafar Ali, Dr Asma Hayat and others were present during the session.

The session was hosted by Dr Sagheer, a faculty member of the medical college. He briefed the students on the laboratory’s various instruments, procedures and protocols, and their use in biochemical analysis and medical diagnosis. Dr Sagheer also answered the students’ questions in a professional manner.

On the occasion, Dr Zafar Ali thanked the medical college administration and Dr Sagheer from the bottom of his heart for their cooperation in holding the session.

According to the university spokesperson, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Gul Hassan appreciated the efforts of the Department of Natural and Basic Sciences for giving students the opportunity to take part in practical activities. He reaffirmed the University of Turbat’s commitment to expanding academic and research partnerships with regional, national and World institutions.
