Saif Ali Khan reveals Kareena Kapoor applies desi ghee to her feet before sleeping

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan revealed an amusing bedtime habit of his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, during an appearance on a comedy show, making those present on the set burst into laughter.

In a recent episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, host Kapil Sharma praised the couple and said that, despite 14 years of marriage, both look fresh. Saif Ali Khan then spoke about the use of desi ghee in his family and Kareena’s habit before sleeping.

Saif Ali Khan said desi ghee is part of the daily routine in his family and is not used only for cooking. He said Kareena Kapoor Khan applies desi ghee to her feet at night before going to sleep.

Joining the conversation, Kareena said she sleeps well after following this routine.

Saif Ali Khan said in a humorous tone that at night, their room smells like a roadside dhaba. The remark drew laughter on the show. His enthusiasm for desi ghee soon became a subject of memes on social media.

Wedding anniversary and new film

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor had posted a loving message for Saif Ali Khan on their 14th wedding anniversary. She shared a collection of pictures on Instagram, with glimpses of their early meetings and time spent together, as well as family holidays and memorable moments with their two sons. Kareena wrote that it was another year of life’s journey and a whole lifetime still to go.

Kareena Kapoor’s latest film is Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar. In it, she has worked for the first time with Prithviraj Sukumaran, a well-known actor of Malayalam cinema.

The film is set against the complex world of crime and justice. Prithviraj plays a police inspector, while Kareena appears in a strong and mysterious role.
