Saba Pataudi says father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi entrusted family legacy to her

MUMBAI: Saba Pataudi, sister of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, has made important disclosures about the upkeep of her family’s historic legacy, worth over 10 billion Indian rupees.

According to Indian media, Saba Pataudi said her late father, former Indian cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, had entrusted the family legacy to her.

Saba Pataudi oversees the family’s property and the affairs of the Auqaf-e-Shahi Trust in Bhopal. These include mosques, charitable properties and facilities for pilgrims travelling to Makkah and Madinah.

She said her father had always taught her patience, justice and thoughtful speech, which still guide her today.

Saba Pataudi also wishes to set up a hospital for women and a school for girls. However, the projects are on hold because of legal matters related to the property.

It should be noted that the value of Rs10 billion is an estimate of the total family legacy. It is not Saba Pataudi’s personal wealth.
