Jiwani assistant commissioner assures delegations of resolving their problems

JIWANI: Separate delegations from Shay Abad and local fishermen met Assistant Commissioner Tariq Imam Baloch in his office. They discussed local issues of the area, public needs, basic facilities and problems faced by fishermen, among other matters.

The Shay Abad delegation informed the assistant commissioner of various problems and public needs of the area. The fishermen’s delegation, led by Nakho Ghulam Nabi, informed him of the problems faced by local fishermen, matters related to fishing and other needs.

Assistant Commissioner Tariq Imam Baloch listened carefully to the problems, proposals and requests of both delegations. He assured them of the necessary steps and all possible cooperation. He said timely redress of public problems and improvement of basic facilities were among the priorities of the district administration. He said the administration would continue to play its part in resolving the genuine problems of fishermen and providing them a favourable environment.

He said direct contact between the public and the administration played an important role in resolving problems effectively. He said problems pointed out by local people would be resolved together with the departments concerned.
