Jafarabad DC Khalid Khan inspects development schemes, directs no compromise on quality

JAFARABAD: Jafarabad Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan visited various ongoing development schemes across the district. He reviewed the work closely and was briefed on the progress of the projects.

Briefing by sub-divisional officer

On the instructions of Executive Engineer Communication and Works (Buildings) Jafarabad Ateeq-ur-Rehman, Sub-Divisional Officer Muhammad Siddique Zehri gave the Deputy Commissioner a detailed briefing on the development projects at the Government Boys School, the Degree College and the Civil Hospital. He informed him about the quality and progress of the ongoing construction work and other matters.

Directive of no compromise on quality

Deputy Commissioner Khalid Khan directed the officials concerned to use all available resources to complete all development projects to the standard set in the PC-I and within the stipulated time. He said there should be no compromise on quality in construction work.

He said the projects belonged to important sectors such as Education and Health. Their timely and quality completion was therefore essential, so that students, patients and ordinary citizens could get better facilities.

He directed the officers concerned to ensure continuous monitoring of the development work. He also directed that all projects be completed soon to the prescribed standard, so that the public could benefit from them.
