QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has said that Pakistan has always raised its voice at every responsible international forum for the real autonomy of its Kashmiri brothers and sisters. “We regard the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir as our brothers,” he said.

He said that here in Balochistan, the people hold their dignity in great respect and are also taking steps to meet their social and educational needs.

The Governor Balochistan was speaking to a delegation led by Naeem Karim, a central leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and focal person for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme in Balochistan. The delegation comprised political workers from Azad Jammu and Kashmir and prominent members of the Kashmiri community living in Quetta.

Replying to a question, Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail said that, in view of the country’s values and traditions, it was reassuring to see warm and friendly relations between the local population and the Kashmiri community in the provincial capital, Quetta. He said this brotherly bond reminds us that mutual respect and brotherhood are our greatest strength.
