CHAMAN: A meeting of the District Development Committee was held under the chairmanship of Chaman Deputy Commissioner Habib Ahmed Bangulzai. Heads and officers of the departments concerned from across the district attended. The meeting reviewed ongoing and completed development projects and discussed the way forward.

A detailed briefing was given on ongoing and completed projects under Phase II and Phase III of the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI). Officers informed the meeting about the performance of their departments, the progress of projects and the problems they faced. The meeting stressed that all projects must be completed within the set time and that their quality must be ensured at all costs. It said no negligence or lapse would be tolerated.

The Deputy Commissioner said the Balochistan government was giving priority to collective development projects for public welfare so that as many citizens as possible could benefit. He directed that obstacles to the completion of projects be removed immediately, that coordination and cooperation between departments be made effective, and that projects be completed with transparency, quality and within the set time.
