Sohbatpur DC Farida Tareen inspects tehsil office, revenue record and hears citizens’ complaints

SOHBATPUR: Sohbatpur Deputy Commissioner Farida Tareen paid a detailed visit to the Sohbatpur tehsil office. She inspected various sections and reviewed office affairs and the facilities provided to the public.

She closely examined the revenue record and related documents at the tehsil office. She asked officials about the accuracy, completeness and upkeep of the record. She directed that revenue matters be completed transparently and on time, in line with the rules and regulations.

The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the quality and progress of the restoration and other construction work under way at the tehsil office. She directed that the quality of work be ensured at all costs and that it be completed within the set period, so that the government building could be put to better use by the public.

On the occasion, Farida Tareen met citizens present at the tehsil office and heard their problems and complaints. She directed officers to resolve public issues promptly and to act on applications on merit and according to the rules. She said the district administration’s first priority was to facilitate the public in official matters, keep records in order and improve the performance of government institutions.
